Founded in 1926, Sarasota Yacht Club (SYC) is a private, year-round yacht club rich in history and a favorite port of call for reciprocal members from all over the world. More importantly, the club has a significant focus on giving back to the community and supporting local youth causes. They sought a powerful PR push to showcase their community efforts, gain more exposure for the club, and highlight all the exceptional social and philanthropic adventures their members enjoy. Following an extensive search for the right fit, SYC chose Grapevine.
Our PR department got to work creating a wide-reaching public relations program for SYC. We engaged a full team collaboration to research SYC’s member services and benefits, identify target audiences and publications, develop key messaging, and brainstorm ideas to drive media, gain awareness and increase exposure and Sarasota’s most elite membership. Our strategy included support for the SYC brand and communications team.
